  • Castellum buys Säve Airport

    Effective today – December 21, 2018 – Castellum has concluded an agreement with Serneke to acquire all of the company’s real estate holdings in and around Säve Airport. The investment will amount to at least 1.1 billion kronor.

    Castellum is starting new construction – Step 2 – of the Hisingen Logistics Park, strategically situated near the harbour. Upon Step 2 completion, the 65,000 sq. m. logistics park will become one of the largest Nordic logistics facilities, maintaining a highly modern standard for wholly automated storage. The Jollyroom e-commerce company has signed a leasing agreement for the entire Step 2 area of 35,000 sq.m.

    In recent years, Castellum has tripled the property value of its real estate portfolio within the office and logistics segments. The company is now preparing for further growth by reinforcing executive management with a new unit for logistics, one for investments and portfolio strategy and one for office premises.

    The Election Committee of Castellum, appointed in accordance with the resolution taken by the shareholders at the Annual General Meeting 2018, consists of Johan Strandberg (Chairman) appointed by SEB Fonder, the lawyer Patrik Essehorn appointed by Rutger Arnhult trough companies, Vincent Fokke appointed by Stichting Pensioenfonds ABP, and Charlotte Strömberg, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Castellum.
