The real estate company Castellum has acquired three commercial properties in Lund and Malmö and a larger building permission in Lund at a total of SEK 220 million. In Stockholm and Västerås the company has acquired two commercial properties at a total of SEK 20 million.
Through its local subsidiary in Malmö, Fastighets AB Briggen, Castellum has acquired two adjoining properties in Råbyholm Industrial Park in Lund, adjacent to the highway E22. A warehouse and office property with a total lettable area of 10,640 square metres, of which approximately 1,600 square metres are vacant at the time of taking over, was acquired for SEK 55 million. Futhermore an office property of 11,738 square metres and a building permission of approximately 10,000 square metres were acquired for SEK 93 million. The existing buildings are fully let.
In Malmö, at the street Fredriksbergsgatan, Briggen has for SEK 41 million acquired an office and warehouse property with a total lettable area of 8,970 square metres, of which approximately 20 % are vacant at the time of taking over. The property, which also contains approximately 1,200 square metres garage area, will be completely refurbished during the next few years.
In the science and technology park Ideon in Lund, where both smaller companies hived off from the University and several internationally established companies are located, Fastighets AB Briggen has acquired a building permission of approximately 33,000 square metres for a purchase price of SEK 31 million. In this area, Briggen has already new constructions in progress and will through this acquisition be able to gradually implement additional building projects for about SEK 400 million during the next few years.
Through its local subsidiary in Stockholm, Fastighets AB Brostaden, Castellum has, for a purchase price of SEK 12 million, acquired an office property in Bromma, Stockholm, where the company already owns approximately 70,000 square metres of commercial premises. The property, which has a total lettable area of 3,298 square metres, is vacant at the time of taking over. This improves the company's possibilities to meet the existing demand on the leasing market in the area.
In Västerås, Aspholmen Fastigheter AB has acquired an unlet office and warehouse property of 1,940 square metres. The property, which was acquired for SEK 8 million, is located in Tunbytorp north of the town centre and will be complementary to the company's former properties in the area.
